hey what's up guys I get myself here welcome back to the article today I want to show you a very neat trick that allows you to hide applications from the home screen of your iPhone in plain sight so for example let's say you have all your social networks installed or downloaded onto your iPhone and you want to hide them temporarily so no-one can see them but when you want to get back to them you can unlock them again and bring them back onto the home screen and use them as normal now this trick also allows you to hide certain aspects of the OS or certain features I should say and other stock applications as well without deleting them
which is the whole purpose here so if you want to head on over to screen time and on the screen time make sure you set a passcode I've already set my passcode so I don't have to do that then once you're done the one that you want to go to content privacy and restrictions this option here allow applications allows you to hide certain apps from the view so right here we have the mail application Safari we also have FaceTime the camera app and as I mentioned also features can be up locked here we have Siri and dictation we have airdrop carplay
and some additional applications at the bottom here like itunes books podcasts news health and more so if we go back here and we go to content restrictions let's say you want to hide social media applications if you take a look here I have all of my social media installed and if I go back to content and privacy and restrictions we go to content restrictions and to the passcode no-one can change this of course unless they know the passcode then you want to
head to apps right here you have age restriction now the great thing is that certain social media apps have an age restriction so if you set this to for age or 9 or 4 right here we can actually hide them from the view the social media applications are actually hitting from the view they're not here the data is still there the apps are installed but they're hitting from the view now we go back and enter that passcode and unrestricted restriction here we can bring them back by going to allow all apps right here now all the apps will be visible right here they are so this is a neat trick that allows you to hide certain apps from the default apps as well as other third-party apps from plain sight on your device so I hope you guys enjoyed this quick tutorial thank you for watching and I'll see you on the next one peace
