how you can use an iphone to compile photos or images into a pdf document

 

hi everyone this is shubham and in this article i'm going to show you how you can use an iphone to compile photos or images into a pdf document and you can do this natively on the iphone you don't need any apps or anything like that it's just using the camera app and the files app and the reason you might want to do this is because you might not have access to a computer and a scanner and you might need to have some documents that you've signed or you know there's many reasons why you might might want to compile take

 photos of some documents compile them into a pdf so basically first of all you have to go to your camera app and take the photos of the documents or anything that you do want to compile into a pdf and then you want to go to your photos app and i've just taken three photos of some uh random documents here and then you need to select these on the top right hand corner and then just tap on all the documents

 that you want to or images that you want to compile i might take this nice photo of a kangaroo and pop it in there just for fun and then on the bottom left hand corner there's this little uh icon here click on that and then we want to then go save to files right here save to files so i'm going to create a new folder on my iphone by first selecting on my iphone and then hitting this little plus on a folder up here i can call this a pdf to like to compile tuesday i can delete it afterwards if i want and then there it is there and just hit now save up the top that's going to save these to that folder that we just created now let's access the files app which is right here and i'm going to now just go back to see how you've got recent and browse down the bottom 

here i'm going to go browse i'm going to go back to locations and i'm going to select on my iphone and i'm going to find that folder right here pdf files to compile now i've got all four of these files i'm going to select them by hitting the select and tapping on each one of them we're now going to hit these three little dots in the circle on the bottom right hand corner and we can copy compress so we can turn these into a zip file if we like or we 

can create pdf so depending on how many pictures you've selected it can take anywhere between 10 seconds in a minute so there we go it's created that and let's have a look where it is it's right here in the middle and you can see here if i click on that it will open that pdf and it's now compiled out for us and it's going to compile the images in order of the file name so if you want them in a different order say if i didn't want the kangaroo first i'm going to have to hold my finger down on that and select rename and if i make this number 04 and then let's say i rename this one rename to o1 now if i compile o1 and o4 by selecting them into a pdf i should

have that kangaroo image second there we go so that's how you can change the order you just have to rename all of the pages in numerical or alphanumeric order to get them now from there once you have the pdf document it's really easy to email it to someone or airdrop it to a pc or anything we just hit that select once again and i might rename this pdf document here first actually by holding down on it and i'll call it new pdf this just makes it easy so i don't get it mixed up because it kind of looks similar to all the photos even though the pdf one is slightly thinner it's you can get it mixed up so if i hit select and click on that one i can then hit the

 

 on the bottom left hand corner i can text it to somebody i can send it via facebook messenger and these icons that appear here will depend on what apps you have installed on your computer but i have the gmail app so i can just um email that to myself or email it to whoever it needs to be emailed to i can i drop it to my imac which is on the same wireless network if i want to send that to my computer and then you know there's all sorts of other options that we have here but once you've got the pdf document there's there's many ways

 that you can you can even save it to your google drive and things like that so that's how you take photos or images that are in your photos app on your iphone and you can convert them into a pdf document i hope you enjoyed this content and i hope it was easy to follow hope you found this valuable thank you and i'll see you in the next article
