want to know how to create a company page on Linkedin if the answer is yes keep on watching is by the end of this video you will have the exact steps needed for building a super successful business page on LinkedIn for more solopreneur ship and online business advice today I'm going to show you how to create a company page on LinkedIn also known as linden business page linden plays a massive role within the business community and has really transformed from just being a place where you put up your only resume just a few years ago to now being deleting social platform for all businesses and professionals on LinkedIn you can promote your products and services you can run a super targeted ads towards other businesses you can engage with your audiences and gain following as the business and you can even do things like creating events and recruiting so hands-down linden is the best place to be as a business in

2020 especially if you are operating within the b2b space I am so excited to show you how to create a LinkedIn company page from scratch but before we get started you should be aware of the following four requirements number one you have to have a personal lead an account created before you can set up a business page number to your personal account must be at the all-star or intermediate level in order to be able to set up your business page so if we go to your personal profile and look at the top section of it you'll see your current stages there and you can improve it by adding more sections to your LinkedIn profile

number three if you are a brand new LinkedIn user and you have just a register to the platform you will have to wait for seven days before you can set up a business page and number four I forgot number four sorry number four you have to at least several first degree connections in order to be able to set up a business page okay so now that we know what is required let's dive right in and go through the process of setting out a LinkedIn company page from the very beginning we are going to start with opening up our LinkedIn account and in the top right corner we're going to select work and navigate to the create company page section as you see now we are presented with a few different options we can create a company page for a small business a medium to large business we can create a showcase page which you would do if you already had an existing company page but you wanted to create an extension for a particular brand or a product or lastly we also have the option to create a page for an educational institution go ahead and select

the most relevant option to you and regardless of what you pick the process from here after is going to be exactly the same for all of us so you will definitely be able to follow along so the first information we're going to be filling in are the basic company details a tip here is not to have your business name be overly long as it is possible that Lindon will crop it otherwise you will notice that Lyndon Auto populated our URL already which is lovely and now we are left to enter a business website as I don't have one I'm just gonna leave that field

empty now a next step for us is to select the industry of our business I'm going to pick professional coaching then we're going to select a company size and again you can just pick the most relevant option to you now we're left to upload the business logo which should always be square and we fill in the tagline okay we are now ready to click create company amazing our business page is officially set up and now it's time to add all the bells and whistles to it so that your company page would look stinked it's

definitely a good idea to upload a branded cover image so let's start there I already have a premade banner for the purposes of this video however if you'd like me to record a quick and easy tutorial on how to create a linden banner without needing to have any photoshop skills just give me yes in the comments below ok so now we have uploaded our banner and we can reposition it as we want to a very useful thing here is that at the top of the page you can actually see everything that we have left to do so let's proceed with adding a description if you don't have a website just click this button on the left hand side we can see outer sections that can be filled in so you can add a business address here or you can add a hashtag for your company

here also if you wish to you also have the option to translate your company page into different languages in this particular section for now I'm just going to go back to our main dashboard a very cool switch that you will notice here is that you can actually maneuver between seeing your company page as an admin and as a member so if we click here you will now be able to see how everyone else in the LinkedIn community actually sees your company profile which is very useful again on the left hand side you can run through all the sections and be very confident and what is it that the outside world the lending community actually sees when they visit your company page now that we are happy with our business page it is time to start publishing content so let's click this post button and copy and paste what we want to share with the world

and then click publish the post amazing so this is how the viewers will see our post my last tip for you is to add a call to action button on your company page and this could either be contact us learn more sign up register really whatever works best for your business and you can also fill in the destination URL so you are directing all your people where you want them to go perfect our company page is all good to go now and if you wish to make any further changes just go back to the admin view and click the pencil button thank you so much for watching

this article I hope that your linkedin company page is on point hope you like this information about linkedin I will see you again in the next one
